MEET STAN
Like many families in our region, I share a deep, multi-generational connection to Central Washington. Although I spent much of my childhood in other parts of Washington, Central Washington remained a place my family returned to often and held close to our hearts.
I attended Central Washington University to play football, providing an opportunity to once again establish roots in the region. It was there that I met my wife, Alexandria, and together we developed an even deeper appreciation for the people, values, and lifestyle that make Central Washington special.
After earning a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Central Washington University, Alexandria and I moved to the Tacoma area, where we launched a business, built careers in law enforcement and healthcare, and began raising our family.
In 2025, Alexandria and I fulfilled a lifelong dream by relocating to Chelan to raise our children in the community that has long meant so much to us. Today, I serve as a deputy with the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, while Alexandria works locally as a nurse. Together, we are grateful for the opportunity to invest our time, talents, and energy into the future of Chelan County and the community we proudly call home.
WHY I AM RUNNING
While I may be new to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, I bring nearly a decade of law enforcement experience serving communities across Washington State. Throughout my career, I have served as a Patrol Deputy, Patrol Sergeant, Training Sergeant, and in a variety of SWAT assignments. Along the way, I have remained committed to developing deputies, building strong teams, and earning the trust of both the communities I serve and the professionals I work alongside.
As a graduate of Central Washington University with a degree in Business Administration and a specialization in Finance, I will lead the Sheriff’s Office with the same focus on accountability, fiscal responsibility, and operational excellence that guided me in building and managing my own business.
I am running for Chelan County Sheriff because I believe the Sheriff’s Office belongs to the people of Chelan County. The agency deserves leadership that empowers deputies, strengthens relationships within our communities, and delivers meaningful value and accountability to taxpayers.
Prepared to Lead and Ready to Serve.
I bring a career built step by step in patrol, SWAT operations, training, and leadership roles, along with formal education in business and finance, that has prepared me to lead the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office with both operational experience and organizational discipline. From working the street as a deputy, to training and developing others as a sergeant, to serving in multi-agency command roles, I have learned how to build strong teams, make sound decisions under pressure, and earn trust at every level of a law enforcement organization.
That experience is grounded in a belief that effective leadership is both earned and demonstrated — through accountability, clear communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement. I understand the demands placed on deputies, the expectations of the public, and the responsibility that comes with managing a public safety agency that serves the people of Chelan County.
I am prepared for this role not because of a single position or title, but because of the full scope of my experience — developing people, leading teams, managing resources, and building trust. I am ready to bring that preparation to the office of Sheriff and lead with clarity, consistency, and purpose.
